The University requires students to earn at least 120 credit hours of acceptable credit in order to receive a baccalaureate degree. These classifications are used for determining a student's academic standing or progress toward degree. Students are typically expected to complete 30 credit hours per academic year in order to stay on track to graduate within four years.
Academic Classification Based on Credit Hours:
First-year: 0-29 credit hours
Second-year: 30-59 credit hours
Third-year: 60-89 credit hours
Fourth-year: 90+ credit hours
